Trader: Manager / Senior Associate

Job Description

The candidate will be a part of a small trading/treasury team which has an extensive mandate as below.

• Trading mainly Turkish financial assets
• Overseeing group’s balance sheet
• Designing structured products for retail and corporate clients
• Managing groups and client’s cash flow (time deposits - loans)
• Relationship management with both local and international counterparties (banks & brokers)
• Executing client orders in bonds, money markets, FX, FX derivatives, futures and eurobonds
• Collateral management with counterparties
• Trade bookings and settlements
• Overseeing risk and limits
• Providing market color and products to salespeople
• Risk and performance reporting

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree (preferably in Business Administration, Economics, or Engineering), master's degree in finance/economy is an asset
• 5-10 years of experience in Treasury/Trading field, preferably in securities, banking and/or asset management industries
• Experience in trading Turkish assets (money markets, treasury bills & bonds, corporate bonds, equities, currencies and listed & OTC derivatives)
• Must have “Capital Market Activities Level 3 License” and “Derivative Instruments License”
• Excel – VBA & SQL knowledge is a plus
• Strong interpersonal and effective organizational skills, able to work in fast paced environment
• A self-motivated team player with strong coordination and analytical skills
• Detail orientated, comfortable with multitask responsibilities
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Bloomberg, Reuters
• Should have strong written and spoken English ability
